Flagstaff Slow/Mid-Tempo Jam

Primarily bluegrass slow to medium tempo jam for beginners to hotshots. You call it, we'll play it at 'your speed'. A very patient, safe, & welcoming environment for pickers of all levels ... designed to help folks 'get up to speed' and learn the ins & outs of jam etiquette & how to call in a song or tune, harmonize, & play with others. Hotshots who especially want to 'pay it forward' to the newer players are encouraged to attend - providing experience & encouragement to the beginner & intermediate pickers. It is a very fun group & always a good time. All are welcome as long as a positive & encouraging attitude accompanies you & your instrument. Leave the 'world' at the door ... fun & music is our focus. YOU are welcome to join us anytime. No fee. We meet at the Joe Montoya Community Center at 245 N Thorpe Rd (at the west end of Cherry Ave & Thorpe Park in West Flagstaff). Building is north of the tennis courts. Room is the last room down the hall on the left side. Enter through the front doors only please. Jam time is 1-3pm. Room is open at 12:30 for set up and tuning.
