The Tune Project

About This Song

Fire on the Mountain is a driving fiddle tune that's been a jam session staple for generations. Made famous by the Marshall Tucker Band's rock version, it's actually much older—some trace it back to Appalachian square dances. Its simple A-D chord structure and infectious energy make it a perfect tune for newer players to jump in on.
